Jissey Boet,

These forums don't have too much "kak", go check out reddit, for "kak" and total idiots.

Unfortunately, I do pay my TV lisence :(

Nothing of any value gets made here these days.

Drinking, is well - problematic - clashes with Ou Toppies Kwaal, medication - punishment for having a few last about 10 days, not the classic BABALAAAAS ...

See first paragrah for why that is something I cannot do.

Damn - this lock down, has resulted in having extra time to to read the forum.

How did we go from reporting nearly 22,000 cases per day in January 2021 to under 1,000 March 2021??

I think just the gatherings is the issue. It is people's right to worship and religion but until vaccines permeate much much more of our society we really need to keep gatherings low. Especially indoor ones. There are platforms like Zoom that allow you to still have a religious meeting/sermon etc without putting people at risk.

And ftr i do attend church meetings and they're over Zoom now and I don't feel like its any kind of victimization, its simply a temporary (but long) adjustments so we don't congregate as large groups and cause super-spreader events.

Booze i think is a dumb idea but yeah, it is what it is.

SA cannot afford further unnecessary restrictions. If/when a third wave arrives, maybe, but not now.
