Yeah they should allow it. Nobody in my circle smokes so very little risk to me. And we all have habits (I smaak a tipple now and again) that will contribute to our death sooner or later, so who am I to judge?

Ciggies are still being sold anyway and filling the wrong people's pockets.
It's also being shared now more than ever.
 
The biggest spreading vectors are already open:
Taxis at 100% -- either die of Covid or Pneumonia
Funerals -- the 50 limit is just a joke -- look at what happens at celebrity funerals
Church services with plenty of singing.

Why restrict any other economic activity?

The only reason is the Govt still wants to look and feel it is in control, which it was not from day one.
 
Also not a smoker and I voted yes, I stopped in 1996, know how it feels to be without smokes.
 
Obviously speaking for myself but this whole debacle to date would have been so much more bearable had they just left the fscking tobacco out of it. (I'd be a lot more cash-flush too)
 
Just ban (or at least restrict) enforced smoking (also called second hand smoking). I don't smoke but have no problem with others smoking as long as they keep it to themselves and respect my decision NOT TO smoke their smoke as I respect their decision TO smoke. In this case sharing is not a good thing.

Let the cops focus on some real crimes instead of soft targets. The cops made enough extra money from selling confiscated cigarettes.

I'm a non-smoker.
