Rioting and looting might force guavamhunts hand to avoid a further lockdown. People are now running out of food, and hungry people will not be locked down.
Edit: saw some news reports with people in the townships not having food to eat, literally going hungry. It is terrible beyond words, and scary beyond what I can imagine. My heart goes out to those people :crying:

Nobody said it was going to be a walk in the park. It is what it is. Don't like it? Then go outside, get infected and die. Those are your options.
 
No maybe a couple months more for America or Europe but Africa let’s be real. Has anyone seen the local news about the townships and Cape flats areas asking where are the food parcels ?

The coronavirus lockdown cannot go on too long or the consequences of economic meltdown could be even more deadly than the disease. Government will have to come up with solution for S.A and not look at what's happening overseas. We can’t compare nor copy what The 1st world countries are doing in this scenario.

Says the guy who wont be starving to death. Get a clue man. If I had to choose between staying home and definitely dying or going out to at least "fight" for my life, only an idiot would choose option 1.

There's also get infected and recover. That's what happens in the overwhelming majority of cases. People recover.

The thing that gets me is the financial part of it. Savings can only last for so long.

I'm loving this lockdown as much as people are saying yeah only the introverts will enjoy being stuck inside.

I think it's more an issue of passing it on to people who have a high chance of dying.

Then don't. People who fall into a high risk category should definitely be encouraged to self-isolate.

X
