It's true though, I don't download anything unless I feel I'm actually going to use it. Basically my internet usage in a nutshell: Game patches, software updates, YouTube, Steam downloads, browsing, online gaming, e-mail and Skype.

Downloading for the sake of downloading is just... stupid :p
 
My guess, that people download entire internet just to use it on long pension days sometime...
 
Was doing 70 - 80gb a month on 512, used pretty much all of it. Now that I'm back on 4mb I've simply upped the quality. I can easily watch 5 or 6 episodes of a series on a quiet work day.
 
Nah, I only download junk so that someone else doesn't use my bandwidth. I re-download the same stuff every month. If I don't someone else will steal my bandwidth.
I only use about 100 Gigs of the 1 Terabyte a month that I download.

Most of the time, yes, at least until I realise that I don't like it or that it is not useful to me. A cap is a limit,
and sometimes limits are helpful.

I don't think that that behaviour would change if it were ever practical for me to have an uncapped 4mbps
[having sampled that speed, I'd rather not go back to a 384k line if I can help it] I probably would spend more
time on Gametrailers and Youtube, which would be [I suppose] a time-waster and unnecessary use of bandwidth.
 
I only download what I know ill watch. Last 3 days of the month is the only time ill go out of my way to find something to download, since i usually have 2-5gig left and dont want to loose it.

Same here. I'm still on weekender.. I no longer download much because I wanna consume what I have first.
 
I have 35GB on a 4meg line and I have to upgrade every damn month.

it's funny, the more/faster your bandwidth becomes the more you download.
4 drives, 2Tb of space and I never have anywhere to put the stuff.
LOL.
Windws & Linux updates don't help either.
 
When i first got unshaped uncapped 384 i went mad downloading every torrent i can find but now i just download series and docs i need :)
 
Well i still want the novelty of having a 4 meg line.But 1k a month is way to expensive.
 
Sometimes I do sometimes I don't. More often than not, I don't.. Really! sometimes I impulsively download something out of curiosity and boredom.
