I was puzzeling over this question for a while and i though i should post it here.

What ever things you download.Do you use everything ?

if you download game do you clock the game or leave it half done?
Do you watch whole series or watch till it gets boring and leave it.

do put your favourite song in oyur ipod and listen to them over and over or do you forget about them once you heard it a few times.:wtf:

What about the lucky ones with faster ADSL than me.Myself on average on 384kb do about 20gigs a month and i still find it hard to find time to play everything i download. Some guys here downlaod over 200-400gigs a month! where do you find time to use it and do you use everything or does most of the things you download never gets used?

I had a weekender a while back and downloaded a whole lot of stuff I intended to use, but as of yet have still not gotten round to using it all. hopefully one day.

now im stuck with 2gb a month, so I definitely use all of this stuff

Interesting topic. I download about 10-12GB a month and I do get around to using everything. I think you're right though - the guys downloading 100's of GB's every month can't possibly have enough time to use everything. Some guys like to accumulate stuff for future use it seems.

I reckon people think of the stuff they download as assets. The more assets you have, the more awesome you are. I have to kind of agree with them. I always find those guys with terrabytes of movies and anime on their computers super cool. I personally just download anime, and I use everything I download. I just don't have hdd space to waste.

having everything you would ever need does sound quite cool ,having a virtual movie library.

Yes I use everything I download , otherwise whats the use???

Pretty much. If something else is keeping me busy then I just up the media quality. That way I utilize entire cap but spend less time consuming the resulting media.

Someone once told me he d/l'd an entire series in HD and then immediately deleted it. I asked why & he said "because I can". o_0

Meh. Uncapped - On 384 shaped I downloaded way more than I needed. On 384 unshaped I downloaded 3x way more than I needed. On 4meg shaped I download 10x way more than I need. I'm not sure why I do this though.

if you really want to kill bandwidth, you can tell him to download the 4k version of sintel

its a 12 minute short, weighing in at 650GB!!!

The truth is it takes so long to download stuff on a 384 line ,you only download what you really really need

It also depends on what you're downloading and how much time you have to use/watch/listen to whatever it is that you're downloading.

This, the OP's question would be better directed at uncapped users

I have 4Mb uncapped here :p

Well, I would, but unfortunately my landline went dead yesterday at 13:20 and I'm still waiting for a Telkom techie to pitch up. \o/

Can you link me to the direct download, the one directory only has thousands of png files :/, i would love to show a screening of this in my town for free.

Looks great and 650GB is not much :p

OK i see one has to show it on a large screen or cinema rather lol, interesting stuff.

/ontopic

I used to grab alot of stuff and i too never got around so oneday just hit that sweet key on the keyboard that says "del" and off it went.

Now i just grab stuff that i watch, Current TV Series, Anime And perhaps a movie or 2. Apps i have lost interest completely.
