Yes and No.
With daily driving, from home to work and around at town I don't, no need to use it if you already know the place.
If I need to go to places I don't know and would then use it

Yup, not for traffic, but getting to a new place - always. Google Maps is pretty darn accurate.

I try to use Google Maps if I drive somewhere during day even if I know where it is, to show me the quickest route and to avoid congestion (for example, got stuck in traffic due to accident at Fountains circle last week cause I didn't use Google Maps, added 40 minutes extra to my journey time).

For holiday trips I use Here maps.

Yes, Use it daily, even on routes i know - just to get an update on traffic and alternate routes. I use google maps

Google Maps and Waze, I have more than one way to work so i check where the traffic is less.

You can set Waze up to alert you to the time to leave for the best route by giving it access to your calendar and setting up a recurring event in the calendar.
