I would be happy if it would be in 10 yrs, very much doubt that, some people are still only able to get internet because of WISPS because there is no infrastructure in place to allow them anything else :-(

So a 2Gbps connection...I wonder how many seeds you'd have to connect to in order to actually get that kind of speed? Wouldn't that kind of speed only really be useful locally? I mean can Google upload a Youtube video to you at 2Gbps? Will downloading a page of a website really go any quicker?

Only a Solidstate Hard disk can read and write at those speeds, and then only on specific types of files. Currently no conventional external hdd's can transfer files at a sustained 256MB/sec, the USB3 interface will allow it, but not the actual HDD.

So at this point in time having a 2gbps internet connection is a joke.
