If anyone follows Nerdrotic we all know why Hollywood decided to hate the viewer. I have watched only a few movies or TV shows. I am not into redpill bluepill politics. I want to be entertained.

Anime tells a good story and can truly take you into the past or future unlike modern movies. The artwork itself is art and the stories are good. The only movies I enjoyed was:

Movies:
John Wick [fist one only]
Boss level [was a lot of fun]
Nobody [was a lot of fun]
Alita Battle Angel [It stands on its own and I enjoyed it] Shoutout to Christoph Waltz he played Dr Dyson well.
Constantine [Very good movie] Shoutout to Peter Stormare and Tilda Swinton
V for Vendetta [Very good movie] Shoutout to Hugo Weaving
Matrix [first one only]

TV shows:
Fringe [Shout out to John Noble]
Supernatural [Shoutout to Mark Sheppard]
Constantine

Anime: [in no real order]
Gundam
Cowboy Bebop
Ghost in a shell
Hellsing [Best anime ever]
Appleseed
Devil May Cry,
Spirited Away.
Onepunch man
Skeleton Knight in Another World. [Lot of fun to watch]
Spy X Family
Mashle: Magic and Muscles. [Lot of fun to watch]
If you like Fringe, you should try Stein's;Gate and then Stein's; Gate Zero.
Bungo Stray Dogs and Eden of the East might also be up your street.
Hell's Paradise and Ancient Magus Bride would probably entertain too.

I will look into them thanks

I am shocked that nobody mentioned Rouroni Kenshin, Death Note, Fairy Tail or No Game no Life.

Busy watching Frieren and Solo Leveling atm. The Delicious Dungeon anime on Netflix is actually not bad and worth it for a chuckle.

Fairy tale only has about a 100 episodes, manga however continue the story. Forgot about Rouroni Kenshin.

Death Note, I only watched the first episodes, like what I saw.

Never heard of the last one

If you like violence. Vinland is your answer. Set during the Viking age, tells the story of young boy who lives a violent teenage life and as an adult tries to find the mythical Vinland where he wont have to fight again.

Who did not, there was limited shows. Did not even understand Afrikaans back then. Still remember the German? soundtrack.
One of Nippon's classics - it's still popular in Japan today. Pinocchio was other fav from those days - with Miyazaki and Takahata later founding Ghibli.

I watch some occasionally.

Currently re-watching on/off a nice show called

Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online

that I watched years ago. There is a season 2 coming soon which is very cool.

Interesting enough, SAO season 3 and 4 raises interesting questions of AI and independence. That's the Alice ones.

NGNL is a favourite but I don't want to talk about it as we'll probably never have a season 2.

Nope, 300 odd episodes. My niece had me download the whole thing.

Coupla OVA's as well now. Your niece sounds like my nieces btw - they all love anime and manga.

During my high sea days there were only a 100 odd episodes. Then when it was crunchy roll some years back, there were only 100 odd episodes. I never checked if more came out.

Crunchyroll still only have 103 episodes:

I am no longer on the high seas.

Crunchyroll went to crap a few years ago. I really enjoyed it while it lasted tbh. They only broadcast what they're licensed to now. Imagine that - Arabic subtitles for a show where alcohol and pork are consumed...

Yeah, even asking me of things I never even heard of.

I'm checking new anime The Fable which is coming out next month. Halfway through the manga and just hope it's being done justice.
