I still remember the days when I eagerly looked forward to the Sunday evening movie. It was usually one of the latest blockbusters. But then they introduced pay-per-view (Box Office), and the quality of the Sunday evening movies quickly deteriorated.

How many of you streamers-only can honestly say you get a lot of quality content?

What DStv used to do was pick and find some of the best series, movies and doccies out there.

Honestly, quite a few of the "specials" I've seen produced by the new streaming giants aren't that good, and then there's Nollywood, Bollywood, and things like Malaysiahood (made that up) and X,Y & Zwood all producing krap these days.

Still a lot of good old British TV shows, available on iPlayer, ITVX etc.
