just a general question...

do they read them?
do they actually respond?
and what is the time frame?

...obviously which one are you with ;)

Openweb always respond to mine, not that I've emailed them much, last time it was within half an hour, usually pretty quickly.

Webafrica: sent in an email and got a response in less than 3 minutes :D

Openweb all the time! On Saturday evening I receive a response within 10 minutes.

Well, I sent an email asking not to be capped in future so I'll let you know :D

Well, I sent an email to openweb to cancel my account a week ago and no reply

Gee I wonder why.....

Absolutely no sweat with Polka - reply everytime and if I send them one after they've closed the reply is made the next morning. I know some people don't like Polka but I've had nothing but good service frm them

That might have to do with the fact that they are a watered down (cheaper) version of Mweb <spit>

But I'm glad you're getting good service from them.

Webafrica & Openweb have always answered me within a few hours.
Telkom - well I asked them to cancel the usage notifications after I cancelled my account 9 months ago, no reply and still getting their cr4p

Someone recommended Online Digital Solutions (ODS) on another thread for uncapped and unshaped ADSL...
Three e-mails over the last three days asking for an account and not a single reply so they obviously don't need the business.
Pathetic.
Its the South African disease not replying to e-mail or returning calls.

I should add that I received a reply from Openweb today inside 52 minutes...pity that they don't have truly unshaped accounts though.

Sensing a debate starting again?

Well Webafrica aren't replying to my e-mails...
