My Specs

2 x 2 gb ddr2 800 value ram ( tested 24hr a stick)
MSI p43 neo-f MOBO
Intel E8200 (stock)
Saphire HD 4850 512MB (stress tested with 3dfur)

I have checked all the temps on my system and nothing is overheating

When playing games I start to get artifacts artifacts and some colors invert red where there should be blue... It happend randomly.. I can play games for 3 hours and nothing or 19min and have to reboot..

I have stress tested the GFXcard for hours on end and it gets hot but the computer does not crash ?

I have uinstalled win7, vista, xp all with the same thing happening.

Everything was bought at the same time so I have not idea which component is its

Any Ideas ?

stress testing alone will only measure overheating - if there are other issues with the gfx card it may not pick it up. Does furmark artifact?

Furmark does not artifact... after hours of running...

Bought the card from pcint in jhb.. I'm in cape town. sending the card back might not be an option it would probally cost 400 bucks both ways...

Is there anyone who can professionally test a graphics card ?

Contact them and see - I did an rma once from ssw to jburg and it wasn't nearly as expensive as that. Maybe it cost me r150 max.

Maybe check if someone can lend you a decent gfx card to test in your rig?

Would have lent you my 8800GT but it died last month. :(

R400 sounds out of whack with reality if you ask me. Tried Speed Services?

I just bought a Msi HD 4350 quickly... so I can test with that..

ok still got the same issues so its only mobo and psu left to test... i am thinking mobo as the new card hardly uses any power ??

I know you you tested the ram, but maybe remove and reseat them or remove one at a time? Sounds like ram issue to me.
