Does anyone have Linux Mint 7 for me?

Apparently Linux Mint will work better for new Linux users than the Standard Ubuntu, as it doesn't require extra tweakings to make videos and audio work. Which is perfect in my case, because I'm converting a friend of mine to Linux, purely because I'm tired of fixing her Vista settings. And she agreed to give it a try.

The only problem is that I can't download a 700mb file. Don't have internet at home, and work might frown upon that.

So, does anyone within the Sandton (Woodmead) - Pretoria (Menlyn area) range have a copy of Linux Mint 7 Gloria - Main Edition for me?

Never mind. I've organized something with our IT department.

Now I'll have to wait almost 3 days before I'll get to play around with it..

Linux mint is great. I love it. Got the functionality of Ubuntu and media works out of the box.

Gonna post this in the main area now, but for interest sakes...if you use 3G, check this out...just downloaded and tested it and it works great.
