Does anyone just watch TV anymore?

When I really feel like watching something; when there's a story I'm eager to see unfolding - I want to watch it when I feel like, without any adverts.

Waiting weekly for a story based show is retarded.

Don't mind that much - new releases are weekly however you get it. Unless you wait for the series to end but it's almost impossible to avoid spoilers if you're online...which again is why waiting a few months for something to appear on telly is lame.

I just wanna press play when I feel like it and there's better **** to do with my time than watch adverts. Baaaaaah.

Uhhmmmm Of course 'cos I uhmmm like my daily dose of The Kardashians... and Uhmmm, I don't care what y'all think 'cos I'm like... watching The Kardashians, and this is like... the best show in the world Oh My God.

Every once in a while I just like to watch normal TV, just because it's so passive and unpredictable. You don't decide what is going to be on, you don't have to choose. Sometimes I just want to see what the commoners are watching get insite in to their world. Nostalgia, omo adverts, insurance infomercials these are the things they count as entertainment.. You can't understand this country until you have watched Kumbule ekaya

Stopped watching TV since long time ago...

*Unskippable adverts!
*Sooooo last century content! (literally)
*Sometimes (if not most) quality of content is so bad that worst youtube content is superior in quality!
*News! (and "you don't like it, so don't watch it" won't work here)
*Must follow schedule to catch favourite shows!
*If you get your favourite show, it will be like one episode per day and the rest is crap you don't care for!

In short, TV doesn't leave choice to you, besides channels.

What is TV?

ITT: Retarded Posts

I bought several new TVs in December and still nothing to watch.
Are they plugged in? :p

Most series were on a break and only resumed this week.

Movie-wise, 2014 had slim pickings but this year promises to be much better!

On the sporting front, we have the rugby and cricket world cups.

The dramatic shift toward online and mobile viewing is driving television set makers to design as much for streaming video as for watching broadcast or cable channels.

Nope.
Haven't watched "regular" TV channels for some years now, and no DSTV for for a little over 6 Months now :)
We have been relying on our Series / Movies via Torrents and now with our latest edition Netflix in the home we have all we need :D
