What car? model? Price?
Put it in the MyBB Classifieds aswell.![]()
Also check out AA Autobay. They do all the advertising, calls, paperwork, arrange test drives etc. for you but you still sell 'privately'. They charge a small % of your selling fee (R1500-R3000 depending on the car's value) and I think it is worth it to avoid scammers, hijackers, chancers and finance disasters. www.aaautobay.co.za
BIG downside is that for literally months you get lots of calls from other magazines and publications asking you to list there for a fee.
Precisely the reason I went with AAAAutobay - apparently they also arrange the finance i.e. they get the moneys from the buyer & pay you therefore no riskIf you think autotrader attracts dodgy callers, try advertising in junkmail motor section. I've gotten weirdos who wants to buy my car and wants to meet at some dodgy place for a test drive.
You could always try http://www.wheels365.co.za, it looks like a newish site but i like the search functionality, it also has a nice financial calculator. Given time i think this site will give some of the others a run for their money.![]()
Important Notice
Dear customer,
In 2009, the AA entered into a brand licence agreement with the Imperial Group, allowing them to provide a platform for private-to-private vehicle sales under the AA Autobay brand.
As a result of a decline in market demand, it is no longer commercially viable to offer this service. We have, therefore, mutually agreed to terminate the brand licence agreement. Consequently, the AA Autobay online sales portal and back office administration hubs will cease operations on 31 August 2013.
However, rest assured, we will still be available to assist any existing customers who have previously purchased a vehicle through AA Autobay, and customers can direct their enquiries to 0861 22 22 29.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
The AA Autobay team
