does bf2 work on Vista?

lol there is no point in jumping to vista, but you will have to one day because dx10 will become standard :)

plus vista is new and slightly different, its not the same boring old xp

although i love new OS's and tinkering and figuring it out, thats my reason for getting vista plus its so plitty


im not sure how to explain this but vista is not much different to xp and has some issues but i would never go back to xp and im not sure why exactly :)
 
hehe, I have vista on my laptop and its fine once you turn off all the stupid reminder things.
Mebe i must try the 64bit version.
 
got BF2 working on Vista Ultimate 32-Bit, can't get VOIP working though.
 
yea brawler its all about drivers man

have u done and setup the mic?

does windows pick up the mic? if you mic boost on

if you have onboard sound then you might have a few problems
 
depends what onboard you got

brawler get a creatvie audigy value, better sound and about 300 bucks

also brawler check for the latest drivers and go poke around the settings

try to get the test thingie working as well
 
Anybody figured out on how to eliminate the irritating disk swapping on vista? I would like to get rid of my dual-boot. I only boot into xp to play BF2.
