Radiation sterilized comes to mind like the surgical blades you get from the pharmacy. Someone here should try it.

Having said that, if I switch drinks from say coffee to tea I will wash the cup because I don't want the coffee flavour in my tea.

90% of the time though it's the same tea throughout the day and so the same cup.
