Does iTunes bill you??

If you have setup an American iTunes account (as most have) with a fake American address, does iTunes bill that address after you make purchases? Is there someone at that address receiving an iTunes statement of some sort?

No apple does not send out physical invoices. Invoices are only sent to your registered email address.

I don't think paper invoicing would be cost effective for Apple esp considering how many free apps people download.

yes, every month you will receive a written agreement together with statement and legal tax invoice. mkay? so make sure the address you choose is either from family or friends who can forward the letter from apple to your SA address because they ask you to sign and return in original. mkay?

but you should be careful, sometimes they send out investigators and if you are not present at your registered iTunes address you will have to face legal consequences online fraud. I wouldn't get involved, too dangerous, mkay?

Besides, if you have agreed to the terms and conditions when you signed up with apple, it may happen they turn you into a ****ing human centipede, mkay?

Does the US Itunes store have more apps? (than what we can buy in SA)

or is it purely for using the vouchers (in order not to give away credit card details?)

Apps, music, movies, series, books... Yeah, the stores are very different. Do yourself a favour, open a US store account and have a little look-see...

With the introduction of iOS 5 it seems like you have to register with your Apple ID, and it will only sync with that one account. I have both SA and USA accounts, but after adopting OTA syncing on my SA account, my USA account apps will no longer update!
