The file I was using to root, I got it at sammobile, but I flashed the AP file with magisk first before trying root with Odin.So in order to deem it original I don't need to flash AP file with Magisk this time?sammobile

You really shouldn’t be rooting and flashing phones if you don’t even have any clue on that oneWhere do I get the original ROM?
No flash original with Odin , leave Magisk out of it , anyway sound like you did not unlock the boot loader before you tried rootingThe file I was using to root, I got it at sammobile, but I flashed the AP file with magisk first before trying root with Odin.So in order to deem it original I don't need to flash AP file with Magisk this time?
Yes, I didn't unlock it. The mistake I made. So this time around wouldn't it matter if it is unlocked or not?No flash original with Odin , leave Magisk out of it , anyway sound like you did not unlock the boot loader before you tried rooting
For the unrooted rom no, if you want to root again ,unlock the boot loader firstYes, I didn't unlock it. The mistake I made. So this time around wouldn't it matter if it is unlocked or not?
I've noticed something, the OEM unlocking option is no longer there under developer optionsView attachment 1624809I flashed it again and it worked but it factory reset even though the bootloader was not unlocked. It's now working. Thanks, bro, i'll try to root again
You may want to take a break for a day or 2 and consider your options.View attachment 1624809I flashed it again and it worked but it factory reset even though the bootloader was not unlocked. It's now working. Thanks, bro, i'll try to root again
To run specialized/modded/Advanced Apps. Lately, I've been trying to cheat in PUBG Mobile and COD Mobile but when I'm using a virtual rooted Android environment, PUBG detects it and kills the app. It detects the virtual environment. And Game Guardian doesn't work on a non-rooted device. I had things easier when I was Using a rooted P30 Lite. Another reason is for performance tweaksIf I my ask ,why do you want to root the phone
With rooting you risk losing the use of banking apps and Google Pay.
Hahaha nope.Do you really think the person whose life is soo pathetic they willing to risk breaking the phone in order to cheat in a meaningless game in order to feel better about themselves cares about that?
