Does postnet2postnet insure

Hey guys,
Wanting to send a laptop via postnet, worried it may get damaged or wont be treated as "fragile" does anyone know what the policy is in general with Postnet or all couriers? If I send it and its damaged or lost who is responsible? Checked their website and their TOS seem pretty cryptic

Yes but you pay extra. They use to have insurance up to R1000. Think things have changed. So expect 3% of the value.

Insurance is extra if I remember right. Rather go with an actual courier like Internet Express and they'll tell you how much insurance would cost
