Does Telkom ISP offer Fixed IP for Home services?

No static (fixed), nor IPv6 natively.

I believe you can get satic IPv4 via tunnels, and IPv6 is on the cards apparently...

Static IPv4, they have a manual for it... There has also been some posts about the configurations / issues that ppl had in the past here on myBB, but not many - I don't think it's that popular really.

IPv6, we received confirmation from our AM that OpenServe is apparently busy "finalizing" it. It would cover the entire IPC product range, so DSL as well as FTTH I would assume. I haven't seen anything "official" yet, other than just a one liner in a e-mail, so best you more than likely don't read too much into it. If it's true, it's definitely good news, and we will most certainly jump on board the moment it becomes available.

AM hasn't lied to me yet (touch wood), so I've got no reason to think they're lying now. But typical OpenServe mentality, no times frames or anything, just a "we're finalizing it." It could mean 6 months, it could mean a year, it could mean 6 years. Who knows :whistling:

At least they're working on it, which is a start...
