We don't have full remote work, but if you have a family problem or something you can there isn't a lot of issue - unless its abused.
Generally though i have arranged:
1. Coffee - Lavazza only you can't work without good coffee. Apparently some want Tea, which i don't care for so whatever they buy lol.
2. I kitted out the Chill area with a pool table, TV (DSTV/AppleTV), and i did put out a poll for a PS5 and was told the staff would rather have physical things to do so waiting for more options

3. I take mental well-being seriously, so all staff get 1 day a month for just disconnecting from work. If they seem particularly stressed I'll sometimes approve more but so far there hasn't been a need to.
4. We buy lunch for the staff every Friday.
5. As a lot of the staff travel for work, i'll throw in a "if you'll be at this hotel you can get a spa treatment to relax a bit" and they can the company will pay the hotel bill.
6. Weekly fruit from the Daily Fruit thing.
7. Vouchers for Netflix, Prime etc.
7. Hugs are always free
As long as its not abused, and the work is done, i'm the kind of person who doesn't chase after people's every move. We have had some problems but rare. I'm also willing to help where needed, like one of my staff's family member is sick in another country and they're very down and upset and not sure if they can go due to the cost, so i've let them use my miles to book their flight.
I have been accused of being too friendly to the staff, and not creating enough "fear" of Director's etc but I'm just not the kind of person who likes that. I don't want to rule, I want to make decisions for the growth of the company and the staff and I feel I can only do that if i listen to their opinions and make my decisions based on those. But I know it doesn't gel well with your general "Director" business methodologies.
