Dog falls down Kimberley's big hole

Am I the only one who's apathetic towards this? I mean seriously... I'd personally do what I can, but won't have a sleepless night over it.

WTF is wrong with some people ffs. I would do whatever it takes to save this animal.
I guess some people just have no compassion for animals.

Exactly. Take Kurt Darren as a crude example. He's willing to spend 15 or 20k on getting a chopper out to get that dog to safety.

I think you're all over-reacting here.

There are probably a few species(be it human, hound or reptile) set loose around in your own neighbourhoods, scared, cold, hungry and longing for attention. I don't see anybody showing any concern for them. There's obviously a reason though - no connection. Indifferent, hypocrisy.

For the record, I have two dogs. I've lost(deceased) two as well.

Are you mad? If I see any animal stranded, cold, hungry I WILL without hesitation intervene !!!!!

I swear to you on my life, if I see any injured, starving, homeless animals, I will stop and assist that animal, no matter what.
I really have a huge heart for animals.
Doesnt matter what it is, even snakes. Ok wait, spiders I am petrified of, snakes not so much :D

How long can this particular life form survive? If it gets tired it would drown, yes? Or does it have a place where it could rest its body out of the water?

The article says the latter. The dog has water but without food it will probably last 5 days but I'm not so sure how injured the dog is.
