Domain and hosting advice

What would be the procedure to host a domain with Google?
I would want to have www.xxx.co.za

I would use Wix.com to build it.

Any suggestions?

Google is not a registrar but you can use their site to register .com domains and either choose godaddy or eNom as registrar. You could use South African domains with GAE and gmail but you would need to register the co.za directly or with company that do co.za registrations and then point to google.

Wix.com hosts sites. All you need to do is register a domain and point to your wix sub domain. I think copying generated HTML from the wix site builder to another host probably breaks the toc.

Register a domain with a host that offers free DNS hosting like Serv or Domaincheap.

Point domain at Google. You do this by editing the DNS records as per Googles instructions.

Wait a couple of hours and thats that.

Hmm i would suggest you register your domain and hosting with anthosting.co.za and then they offer free build in site builder with like over 3000+ templates.

IIRC: in order to use your own domain at wix.com, you need to have a premium account. I used weebly instead, at the time, with my own domain. Hope this helps
