Update;

Got my Neotel statements/invoice this morning.

Basically, my balance is 0, but the deposit they are holding still shows.
Hugo said I'd have my deposit by weekend so I'm hoping.

No communication from Neotel (or anyone AT Neotel) regarding collection of my device.
I am however going to take it to work with me and if I head out Bellville way, will drop the device off at their offices myself (and get a receipt they received it)
 
Oh, as for the antenna, I've contact Kumtech (who installed my antenna for Neotel) and will ask them to come remove it, hopefully I will have no charges, because if there are charges, I will just remove it myself and dump it in the bin (no jokes!)
 
My R1000 deposit was refunded to me this morning... YAY'ness!!!

Kumtech are supposed to come fetch the antenna, Neotel (via Hugo) are supposed to come fetch the phone (Skynet?!?)

Once all these things are done, I'll be so happy!
 
@hugo i am still waiting for you to finish with my case and refund the money for the three months that neotel was not working.

I have been chasing up Neotel's promise to re-inburse us for the 7 months we had no service for just over a year, I gave up and is in the lawyers hands now, funny though in December an unauthorised amount of R3800 was taken out of the account by Neotel and am still fighting to get it back. I was told the money would be back in by Monday so let's see.

Just a note that was explained to me over the telephone by a Neotel Rep:
While you are still a Neotel customer you are not entitled to a refund, you need to cancel first.

By EOB tomorrow, I want the antenna removed, I want the Neotel phone device collected.

My mom will be home tomorrow (she’s taking a day’s leave so that you guys can come collect)
A bit short notice, but I actually don’t care, I’ve given you guys both enough time.

Reon; you said the call was logged on the 11th, I’ve heard nothing – tomorrow is d-day.
Hugo; you have known about my request to have the device collected long enough – I’ve heard nothing from you, expect you telling me that it will be collected, have it done tomorrow please.

My mom’s contact numbers are: removed
I will be in contact with her tomorrow to find out if she has been phoned or if you guys have come.

I don’t want excuses, I want the devices collected/removed etc by EOB tomorrow, enough said.

You're probably wondering, what will happen if nothing happens tomorrow.

Easy, I take the phone and I put it in the big black bin, the antenna I will remove myself and put it in the same bin.
Neotel must just 'try' me...

I forwarded the e-mail to Hugo letting him know to contact Reon and 'deal with the situation'

Reon can't really help unless you want a antenna installed or removed. They do antenna installs for Neotel, Neotel got them to do my install, and I'm using them to remove it, they can use the antenna somewhere else or return it to Neotel, I couldn't give a flying frack anymore.
 
I'm really beginning to think that Neotel ever having a stable network is something of a dream.
 
Not the best idea to have mommys tel numbers plasted all over the forum...

Pity you in Cape Town, cause I would come and do Neotels job for them and take the antenna down for you....though its not a solution for the erratic flex, might help the dropped calls?

Ok, Kum Tech have come to take down the antenna.

Skynet called me today, they wanted to collect Monday, I said no, today or I throw it away, I think the guy thinks I was joking, I said they must fetch it today, I don't care who works late - Hugo clearly only put the request through today - I told them today, or they can collect it Monday, from my bin.
 
LOL it took them 4 tries to finally get to my house for my modem , have fun :)
 
Why are you whining so much about the goddamn device! Why do you HAVE to get rid of it so soon, does it take up so much sapce? just put it in a cuboard somewhere in your house and forget about it until neotel fetch it, is that so hard to do? There's more serious problems Hugo and neotel need to sort out then to come and fetch your neotel device!
