So I had a spam fuel saver advertising email in my inbox the other day and I would like to warn people about this hoax they are trying to sell. It is a rip off and just doesn't work. They are trying to sell you a piece of metal for R299 and promise up to 33% fuel savings. This is absolute nonsense and has been tested to be totally useless uncountable times. I am tired of people trying to sell rubbish by telling lies. You can check out this ripoff fuel saver on www.formes.co.za

It explains that this product creates a swirling cyclone of air inside the combustion chamber by simply putting this thing inside the air intake hose of your engine. Not that there would be any of this cyclone left once it went through the injection nozzles or carburetor into the combustion chamber, the whole thing wouldn't give a damn about it. So please people, don't waste your money on garbage like this.

please provide proof of your product claims (not from a report commissioned by formes inc or one of its employees).
and, no, "a washington newspaper" doesn't count as a reliable witness, as we can't trace the source.

If this device really works as advertised why isn't it standard fitment on new cars? Surely such a massive improvement in fuel consumption will lead to an equally massive increase in sales? Think how much motor manufacturers could save on research.

Why don't you explain to us how it works? You know, the magic that makes it work.

Geez, first post on this forum and you post this?. Not a good way to make friends here, for sure.

Defend your product by all means, but do it professionally and civilly, and you will earn respect if you can prove it works as claimed.

Otherwise we have another smokoo on our hands.

Am also curious to know why it isn't standard fitment, surely the various auto manufacturers would have been falling over each other to get this installed in their vehicles, sales would skyrocket. Or, if it was that good, the oil companies would buy the patent and lock it away... they are rumored to do this with energy-saving products.

So there you go Formes, prove your detractors wrong, don't just threatent them with legal action, that is boring. If you have a genuine product, don't see why legal action, with the associated expense and time wasted in court, would be necessary.

Obviously cannot afford? Dude, the mere fact that he is on this website means he has a proper job and most likely some disposable income. Just because he doesn't want to risk your unique style of gambling ie spending R300 just to find out what he already knew and suspected, doesn't mean he can't afford it.

Unfortunately for Formes mybb as a collective is way to smart to fall for that crap. Do you not think that with billions spent by car companies in R&D every year they would add a R50 part to get 33% more economy?
 
Hi guys, I also received a mail in my inbox regarding this some time ago. I decided to put them to task and purchased one for my ML320D. So far I have achieved a saving of ± 11%! If it weren’t for your comments I wouldn’t have bought one. You know, assumptions is the mother of all F...ups!
