@ ic: as I said, not many of us know the true nature of his transgressions, sure, if he did commit falonies, let him answer for his crimes - they will be investigated, and hopefully punished.

I'm glad you are begining to see it our way, instead of defending the indefensible.

I never was defending the indefensible....

I just mentioned that a more stress-free result would have been on the cards for TheYak, and clearly implicated that fact? Did I not?

Then, a lot off the "evidence" against person wrt tax-evasion/VAT fraud can not be substantiated, it is pure conjecture - not factual.

If he is guilty, then let him pay the penalty - what I referred to is accusations, which may or may not be true, and may land some people in hot water if found to be false?

If he had done me in, I would have acted, and not threatened for an extended period of time - because then you show Person you are not really serious, same as when he was threatening with lawsuits, he won't act in a positive manner.

So, please re-read my reply earlier, as it seems there are facts you misunderstood.

Thanx.

No joke, mate.

Thankfully, not all are soft like you, and some actions have been taken to prevent future "irregularities" -

Let us hope that they conduct thorough investigations into the alleged issues.

And please, even if you come from the Vrystaat, the plural of "forum" is "forums". At worst "fora", from the Latin neuter plural. But not "forii".

Learn some frikking respect please.

Ah, no worries Jason ;) As I said, sometimes people get carried away when behind keyboards - then you meet them in real life, and you see they're not really arseholes - just someone who suffers schizophrenia everytime they move into realm of internet.....

No harm done.

We all go through that one stage or the other.

But, you have to admit, the softy part was quite excellent - and probably true ;) rofl

Can we please try and keep on the topic and stop these personal slanging matches. We don't really want the SECOND thread closed too.

@ Debbie: I did not read the other thread, as I understood it turned into a circus, so I won't waste my time.

No disrespect to you MrBean_pm but most of the time it was constructive. I think until you read the first thread you don't really understand where I'm coming from or where the other people here are coming from. It only gets personal to the end but I don't think you can point out until you've read the first one. That's my look on it. I eventually got my refund back but you should look at what I had to go through to get it. Maybe then you will understand the case from where this started a little more clearly.

Again this is not an attack on you, just think that you need to read the first post. It's on page 3 I think. Some of your points are valid but some aren't. Which is why I can't stress more that ppl should read the first thread as well, gives you a greater perspective.

And by the way he did say that he was gonna send the case and hasn't. I know I can look somewhere else but it's the point of lying that irritates me more than anything. Why lie. Just say no I don't want to send you the case.....

LOL @ PearlJam

MrBean - you have some very good points there, but it gets very difficult to handle things in a "civilised" manner when you know you're getting swindled.

The problem is, as I've mentioned before, that I'm without transport this week, so it's not a question of not wanting to go to the police, but I just haven't been able to.

As soon as I can, believe you me, I will.

Brian and I had another email conversation yesterday, so we'll see how it goes. He mentioned that he would get my current card picked up and taken to Legend, and that they would swop it out if the card is indeed faulty.

This poses a bit of an irritation for me because that means that I can sit without my card for weeks. Why am I annoyed? Well, because (if you refer to my earlier communication with Brian) I was told that the courier with deliver the replacement card when he comes to pick up my current card... and again, now there's a different spin to the story - I get promised an easy solution, and it turns into a schlep after a few emails.

As for my refund: I think it was mentioned MrBean, but I got the card for free, because it was almost two weeks late and it was supposed to be my birthday present - looooong story.

Anyway, it's all just a big mess. Brian basically has 3 hours a day to sort out all this - considering that the US "wakes up" at about 14:00 SA time and our shops close at 17:00.

*sigh* I don't know... I'm just at my wit's end. Asking nicely doesn't help, threatening doesn't help. So I guess as soon as I can, we'll have to see what a visit to the police does.

But the problem AntiThesis, is that the summary doesn't cover the priceless and funny parts :D

It was like a soap opera :D

But nicely done never the less :)
