Dota 2

Well played Secret, deserving champs, imo I think Sumail had his worst comp yet since hitting the big stage.... Arteezy gave his all and was not enough. I like Liquid, perhaps the pressure got to them in the end as they did not show the same aggression / playstyle against secret that rect EG, perhaps Puppey just showed to much experience in the drafts. Either way, gz Team Secret!

Avoided this forum so hard to avoid potential spoilers

And as a Secret fan, since they started with Secret v 1.0, all I have to say is ... Go on Secret!!!!!! What a bunch of players!!! ...

Yip, I enjoyed the finals too. At least didn't lag/freeze/simply didn't work.

I was hoping for EG/Secret final, but was not to be. It seemed one match too far for Liquid, even surprised they won a game.

And that Weehaa Invoker !! play was simply insane, compared to the standard one-trick whirlwind/meteor I see in my level of pubs.

next up TI6.....bring it on!

Because LVL's do not correlate to skill grouping, but rather number of games played. And I think we can all attest to the fact that the two are not directly proportionate.

Because your average play level is that of level 27's. Or perhaps the other team were in a stack with level 40's or something, and you balanced out your side, so you were supposed to be the leader..

I have played 1777 matches, i doubt a lvl 27 has even half that.

I think i play very well for my level, the other team had 1 lvl <40 and the rest were >55

I'm also seriously amped for TI6 now. But next up is the Manilla major. I think that is in May.

Lets hope the production for that is a whole lot better.

I also see a lot of the players components and parts now have been misplaced/boxed up/stolen without any communication with the players!!!

As you have already been told, the number of matches you've played (and hence that useless level number attached to your profile) is not related to your MMR, which is what determines who you get placed against.

If you want to see a number at least somewhat related to your skill level then play ranked and get your visible MMR. Otherwise stop whining about level disparities. You may as well whine that if you're so good why are you being paired against so many guys with the alternative Spectre voice pack for all the relevance it has.

Frankly I'd have thought that after 1777 games played you'd have known that.

I must point out that my mic wasnt working in this game, but the ingame icon showed i was talking, so i was talking to myself for an hour. We would have won if my mic was working.

Exactly this.

Which is why I wish ranked gameplay was a thing in South Africa. Your MMR is your MMR. No more I've played so much, or my level is this high...

I mean look at Deadmanza. He is level 98, and is still noob...

xD Just joking!!!

Who were you in this match?

I can't see half the people on his side - radiant, however the one player that must be him - looking at the levels and hours played seeing as he says he was stuck with level 27's. He must be Xeon Phi. Otherwise, if his profile is set as private, I will promptly start ignoring said user, cause how the heck can you moan about others but your profile isn't even visible for people to scrutinize.
