"Those that can't do, teach" ?

Considering I can't do due to internet dropping every two minutes, this is exactly it. Can't level but can teach it :p

In all seriousness, drop the levels worry, just play to win with what ever team you're given, and if they really are clueless, help them out. Or stack and search? :D

^ this.

Pointless raging at teammates. If someone is truly toxic (swearing, screaming, racism etc.) just mute him and play your own game. Dota is supposed to be enjoyable. The minute you stop worrying about whether you're good enough or whatever and just have fun it becomes a lot more pleasant.

I've been lucky enough to find a decent bunch of friends to stack with and we have a great time. I make sure to unfriend people who rage frequently and that way I keep my dota fun. We win more than we lose but that is neither here nor there, the main thing is that, even when we're getting stomped, the banter flows and we laugh and joke to the end.

Personally I am taking a much needed break from Dota, the level (Skill level not Farking trophy level) of players I find has dropped heavily and dota is longer fun to play. I like winning!

POE is so much better at the moment!

This is true. We are the Shanghai Major to the TI Pro's. Relatively speaking.
This is why I don't really care about my skill bracket or my win rate or any of that garbage at this point. Sure I like winning, but I don't let it consume me like I used to with dota. Now it is about having fun and so I try to stack with like-minded folks (obviously there is the odd bad day for people in terms of rage but we're all human) regardless of their skill level.

I'm never going to be a pro. Sure I try to learn and grow. I try to be the best dota player I can be with the amount of effort and time I'm prepared to put into dota, but I keep in mind that there is always going to be someone who puts in more time, who learns more strats, who analyses pro games intently, who has better reaction times, better game sense etc..

I take the same approach with csgo as well and it has saved me so much stress lol :p

hahah

What is this "League" thing you speak of?

Worldwide though Lol has many many more players than Dota, but, as I see in the workplace every day, just because more people believe it doesn't make it true or right :)

Because LOL is easier, much more noob friendly.
