Dota 2

I've seen it as well, there usually is 1 guy on a team who's MMR is not at 1.7K as dota says, I quite enjoy playing vs someone who makes the game challenging as I also got calibrated in this bracket most people on SA servers gets calibrated at 1-2k MMR so if you want to avoid that calibrate on EU.

But just to show the skill gap in some games.

http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/2301204161 - Felt really bad for this invoker, he was wrecking us but he had potato team mates

I actually watched this game with the io/es combo, they made some really impressive plays.

Those two dudes always play together, WandaThePanda™ and T3chnoWaffle

PS.....when playing OD, try and hit the enemy heroes as much as possible before dropping your ulti, as your attack lowers their int and thereby increases your ulti damage.

I rate most people hate invoker not because of the hero or the person playing it, but because they don't know how to play the hero themselves :p

Lets be honest, it's not the easiest hero to play with.

I play him pretty often and I still hate Invoker pickers. I usually feel like I need a shower when the game is over.

He is seriously good fun to play, even if he does make you hate yourself:D

Hey, support morph was a thing at one stage... That max strength stun is nothing to scoff at!
No dude, support morphling buys a perseverance and tries to go shotgun build. At least... that is what I learnt in last night's game :p

Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed that game even though I knew we were fighting a losing battle with a terrible draft. My teammates, while not the best players in the world, were good fun. Nobody raged, we all just laughed and joked with each other... like a group of mates having sun-downers while watching the apocalypse approaching. I still consider it a good game.

support CK!

I played a game the other night where I decided to go Huskar, while my son was going to play Ogre (A surprisingly good combo....)
At 1 sec the other team randomed Ogre, so my son clutched-picked something else, leaving me with Huskar and our team with NO supports....

So, I called Huskar support.....and we went about losing badly. :) A behind-the-game huskar is a poor huskar :)

I remember one game me and some friends were playing AR. We all got support heroes 3 of us re-picked to get more support heroes and decided we have lost anyway so we smoked and all went bot picked up 2 kills.

We then started going around the map and getting pick after pick and laughing about how bad our picks were until we were so far ahead, one guy then said "we gonna win this" which put us all into hysterics.

The CM (main carry as we named him) ended the game 14/0 and we ended up winning quiet easily.

It was one of the funniest games I played but one of those gems.

Played a game with a mid Io once. He went Armlet, Satanic and a bunch of other items you'd normally see on a melee tank. Then he would just relocate in for ganks without ever bothering to leave mid in any real sense. He didn't even bother with tether. Watching an Io rape a CK solo was the weirdest thing I'd ever seen. We all laughed when he said he was taking Io mid but he stomped hard.

Invoker is a cool hero don't get me wrong, the new Invoker is just ****e though tbh, When I learned to play him you actually had to queue spells to get kills, Not just right click with cold snap and forge spirit. Thats all invoker players do nowadays.

When you watch Miracle/ Dendi playing Invoker that is how it should be done, Not running down mid with forge spirit cold snap and feeling good about it

I think playing Invoker is a true test of skill and I admire people playing it well. I know my own limitations and I think being a good Invoker is one of them.
But there really are too many people abusing the easy way out with him.

I also really think for every good Invoker there are 3 bad ones, so don't REALLY mind coming up against it.

Back in my day you had to Eul's, sunstrike, meatball into cold snap into deafening blast. GET OFF MY LAWN AND TURN THAT MUSIC DOWN!!

You are right though. Forge Spirits are broken AF.

OK, I've changed my mind. Puck is in a pretty good place right now. Could be because of the meta... But he/she/it is pretty strong. With right line up of course.

Would still love a buff though :p

Success of Puck has always been highly dependent on the rest of the team. In the right hands that hero is still quite strong.

I think if they buff Puck it will end up being the new go-to mid once Invoker and OD get beaten with the nerf stick.

Agreed. Buffing Puck will just create a new OD/Invoker, and I think the idea with every patch is to create balance and diversity rather than pure buffs/nerfs.

Personally I expect more Agh's bonuses for hero's without them. Things that allow different playstyles for straight-and-narrow heroes.

They'd prob look at the bottom 5 of the "Most played heroes" list and make them viable. In a perfect valve world all heroes would be played equally.

But **** that, please buff Void and make him a hard carry again.
