Dota 2

Starting to hate this stupid game, it thinks that im in the "normal skill" bracket when I should be in the high skill bracket and because of this I always seem to get paired with noobs that dont have a freaking clue, all the supports seem to rush aghs then we die because of non existent heal or magical damage reduction.

Im not sure why there isnt a low skill bracket for the noobs but it seems normal is the lowest you can get, which is bullsh*t.

And if anyone thinks im normal skill or bad at this game they need to GFTS.

The game doesn't "think" anything. It goes on a number of your stats. It doesn't judge you depending on its mood for the day.

Well if my GPM and XPM drop because of the kids in my game should that be my fault?

G/XPM just seem to keep dropping because of this trend.

That is the thing. A good player would still be able to effectively farm and get kills regardless of how shyte your team are. Because the opposing team will be just as shyte as the noobs on your team as you put it.

Maybe my team just had noobier noobs.

Last match I got thrown into a high skill match but some of my teammates where awful, freaking lvl 47.

This game is broke, even CSgo has issues with matchmaking on a skill level.

Lvl has ZERO bearing on how good someone is.

Yes but you still have experience with the game on a previous account aka Smurfing.

My lvl is 108. I have only played 2600 odd games. There are guys with 5000 games that are a lower level. Level is based on achievements, like buying the compendiums and doing hero challenge and carp like that. You do level from playing but you level much faster by buying things.

All i would like is for the other 9 people in my match to be the same casual MMR as me thats all and if that is the case then I must be the best noob in the world.

Or maybe I shouldnt care about winning or losing and just play the game.

The latter. Otherwise the stress will kill you :D

Also the other 9 people in your match are the same casual MMR as you. That is how it works for the most part. Obviously with a player base as small as SA's there are sometimes going to be anomalies.

I've been playing EU West lately as I'm out of the country temporarily and I've been placed into 4k games with a mid 2k MMR in that compendium challenge ranked games thing. That seems really stupid.

That's exactly how it works at the moment. If you're not happy with your team mates - congrats, you're potato bracket. Just like most people...

But yes, you shouldn't care. It makes it more fun and less likely to ruin your day.
