Hmmm... New bloom. Can't wait.

Deadman, dude... I thought we were going to lose that game last night bru! :D

Luckily one BIG black hole and an awesome RP changed that, I was starting to get pretty nervous! I farmed so slow, because CM blocked 3 camps and Axe kept roaming into the jungle. But once I got the blink it started to go a bit better. Just one fail... :(

Lulz dude we were never gonna lose - Undying to Stronk! :p

So am I correct in saying that you played only one match so far? Is there like a log or something?

Man this Year Beast thing is so irritating with the servers crashing all the time, valve really didn't think this through. Although I hear it goes better on the EU servers?

Deadmanza did you okes manage to play your game last night, or was it postponed for another day due to loadshedding?

My major gripe with the game mode is that it's effectively "pay to win"? And yeah, server instability. Valve posted a record over the weekend, with over 1 million players online at the same time. Kinda mental. They've made a killing from the event, so hopefully we'll see some server upgrades.

Was a complete mess bud, we had to give them game 1, as 2 of our players were loadshed...

Then we only started game 2 at after 10. By that time on a Sunday I am dead dude, as were a couple of our other players...

To a large degree it is pay to win unfortunately. I have managed to win a few games of it though without having paid anything towards it. I must say once you get the hang of the drafting and how to control the year beast it does become quite fun even if you can get totally stomped by CM arcana owners.

I only managed to get into 2 games, 1st game we won easily.

2nd game the opposing team went Dazzle, Witch Doctor, Warlock, and 2 other heroes I cant remember.

Either way their beast just would not die...

Yea the games are very one-sided. If one team is allowed to get a good draft the game is over in 15 minutes.

Dazzle is a good pick, if the other team snags it you need to counter with Axe or their year beast is going to crush you.

I was Axe... :p

With the axe nerf on culling blade, plus their perma heal could never get the beast in culling range.

Ye it's definitely pay to win since you need a minimum of 5000 points to upgrade the beast to level 2, but 15000 is better since you can then upgrade it to level 3.

There is a huge difference between level 1 and 3

Played 6 and only managed to win 3 so far.
