Best Advice: 95% of Your Pain Is Caused By Your Own Stupidity

In a game of Dota 2, you either get "analed", or you do the "analing" and then promptly get "analed" the next 4 games, because Dota 2 MM ****ing hates you.

Don't work yourself up over a game that you won't become pro at and earn money.

LOL...

I play the game for fun firstly, but sometimes when you play with idiots (of which I suspect you may be one) it turns sour very quickly because THEY make the game *** for you. If you played with one or two decent people then the experience would have been very different.

So, in short - thank you for your opinion, but you clearly don't understand what I meant.

What does going pro or making money have to do with gaming?

Na`Vi / EG / C9 etc.. etc.. are in it for the money; They are using gaming as a means to make money. They are professionals and their performance during their gaming has an impact on their financial stability.

For the rest of us plebs, whether you win or lose has no impact on your financial stability. As a result, the incentive to not suck isn't that strong. In my opinion.

You clearly don't understand what I meant. So let me try again.

If you get "angry" and/or "frustrated at noobs/idiots/trolls" while playing Dota 2 as a pleb, you are only causing yourself pain. I speak from experience (from my BF2142 days).

I agree that playing with decent people helps, as a matter of fact. It's been proven that playing in a party automatically raises a individuals skill, simply because they are with their peers they'll try just that much harder to not suck.

Not going to even bother...

No problem. It was foolish of me to expect a adolescent to understand.

Actually it was foolish of you to assume, that because Na'vi, C9, etc. use Dota2 as a source of income, some how means that the rest of us who play for enjoyment are not allowed to rage at plebs.

Don't feed the troll Deadman. He is clearly out for attention. 117 posts, so clearly a smurf account trying to get a rise out of people. Having played 2142 then you know he also doesn't have taste - so take everything with a pinch of salt.

Had it, too. Another annoying thing that's happening, that someone else mentioned in a game last night too, is clicking to move, and your character suddenly turns around and moves the other way.

I've had this before. Although in my personal experiences I would usually be heading towards the bottom left of the screen and accidentally click on the top of the mini-map causing the hero to turn around and head in that direction.

Back on topic.

Played Undying for the first time in ages yesterday. Got a rampage sub 10 minutes including a double kill on the Wraith King..... :O

Didn't know he was so strong. Did they buff him?

Relax bro, it's normal for an adolescent like yourself to not be able to see past their own little world. Pretty much confirmed it with that BF2142 comment.

You're more than welcome to rage at noobs / plebs, but when you are older you will realise that you are only making yourself angry.

Yesterday I was in an interesting match. It was a year beast brawl and the opposing team had a "Silencer, Sniper, Axe, Dazzle and a LC"; We pretty much got bulldozed, 8 kills against their 35. Focusing didn't help much because of Dazzles Shallow Grave and Sniper would just right click from a safe distance while Axe / LC / Year Beast keep the front line secure. Don't forget silencer disabling our skills as well. Sneaking to take out Sniper first sometimes worked, but at a high cost. 3 for 1 trade.

So in any case, our Earth Shaker went ballistic, absolutely RAGED. Screaming (over VOIP and chat) about how his night has been completely ruined, how the other team is noob for their hero picks and that he is going to delete Dota 2 after the game ends and how he hates playing solo etc.. etc.. etc..

And I'm sitting there, thinking back to this topic and wondering, how is his rage helping himself or anyone? He is only going to go to bed angry, fantasizing about beating people up or whatever ragers do when they go to sleep angry.

Ag well, I don't expect adolescents like Slaught3r or Deadmanza to understand. It's interesting none the less.

Your comments are laughable. I am the last person to rage, ask anyone that plays with me.

Also your obsession with young children worries me.

Our politicians could a lot from people here in subtle personal attacks.

If he angers you subtly suggest he may be a pedophile but don't directly name call him.

Back to dota, when is the next big tournament?

I know its only a game but it fks up my WL ratio, and I really dont like that.

You do realize that as long as you're playing scrims, the match engine will end up keeping you at around 50% w/l.
Only once you start playing league games ranked games does your W/L reflect truly.

Have to say I enjoyed Secrets game last night. They seem a lot more focused than in DAC. Could be that they used their time off wisely and worked on their timings etc. Unfortunately I couldn't finish the game, but when I closed Dota they were 25 kills ahead and pushing tier 3 towers.

Anyone finish that game?
