Finally ended the 30 day dry spell and played one game of dokta this weekend.

It's really amazing how ones mind changes in such a short time, I couldn't last hit to save my life, and for some reason I was forced into played mid, which is kinda bad considering I suffered from extreme brain lag, plus I usually play support.

Being absent from the game for so long really impairs ones ability to FOCUS on stuff that would otherwise happen naturally, like last hitting, gawd it was terrible. My decision making was also lagging, so I ended up following my very competent team. If it wasn't for them we'd probably have lost the game

Will have to spend some time playing bots before re-entering the dotka jungle.

Allrighty, will add when I eventually open steam again, probably won't be soon, going to spend some quality time watching the majors rather.

I did when it was still on the old source. Made custom abilities and such, not to hard. But really you need time and a lot.

Yeah the custom abilities and items seem easy enough, but the time factor is very true. Started playing in the map editor last night a little bit as well, I enjoyed myself a little too much, especially considering how terrible the map actually looked xD

Nice! I've gotten through a few of the Winter Treasures thanks to the Battle Pass, and so far have got almost none of the heroes I like playing.
I got 3 x Bounty Hunter Sets FFS!

I like the Slardar set, next up is my 2nd Treasure IV......REALLY hoping for Sven...or, if the Dota gods smile on me....that EPIC Dazzle set. I swear I will play Dazzle forever.

The matches are usually on YouTube so you can have them playing in the background while you work.

Ugh, not at my office....

My plan was to identify a good match or 2 and watch them tonight, and read detailed match reports of the rest. I remember with TI5 there was some good reports. Lots to learn form pro matches for potatoes like me.

Wish I could say the same ;( I'm at the funny spot now where I must have a decent Hidden MMR, but my friends who play once a week (Dota level 10-15) gets dragged up and ends up 0-17 too often. They also think "Runes are overrated" and "why not go Skadi straight after starting items?"
