Dota 2

Line is up and running again, so with a bit of luck, I'll be back to feeding again tonight! :D
 
4 days before I can play decent again, at least I can watch some Dota majors this weekend. I see group A and B started early this morning.

Na'vi looks good value for money - WOW. They knocked (admittedly out of sorts) Secret to the lower bracket with a 2 - 0 (and it was a complete ROMP). Struggling a bit with DC at the moment, but I reckon they should take it.
Have not checked any other games, but really entertained by this Na'vi DC game.

Was hoping to watch some live games tonight, sad to see it started so early :(

Guess I'll catch some tomorrow and Sunday, maybe watch some replays tonight.

Hi guys. I seem to having trouble with my ping from about 4 days ago. I'm currently on iConnect Fibre and live in JHB. Its weird because when I trace route all the servers (SA), I get between 3ms and 27ms ping. Except the JHB server where I get 170ms ping (this is the server that I think matchmaking mainly occurs on). Here are the trace routes:

That seems to be some form of routing issue. I suggest you raise it with your ISP, and get them to find out more info for you. Doubt there is much you can do on your own.
 
Anyone else struggling to find SA pub games?

It's been terrible this entire weekend, I've spent 70% of the time playing on EU because of it :(

I searched for 30 min plus on numerous occasions, most of the time the timer went to around 5min and then kept on starting over ever minute or so :(

Spent most of my weekend viewing other people play because of it.

Yea, as opposed to the normal 2 minutes.

Was annoying.

Snap, tried last night for 20 min and gave up, all modes.
 
Servers were broken during the weekend. Played a DGL game last night and had to wait about 6-7 min to get a server for the game to start.

Won game 1 quite far so the team we played against went 5 man mid. Was actually quite annoying

Yeap Ladder division game, Game 1 our lifestealer went something like 39-1 with a puck slardar combo, He got 2 rampages in the first game so they just decided YOLO

Went and drafted a Furion, Dazzle, Witch doctor drow and necro, Our Sven got free farm and wrecked 15 min in
