Fact remains that if you live in a "third world" country or if you are geographically challenged as we are in SA then breaking through to top tier Dota is basically impossible.
 
I don't get it. Why did they turn off the chat wheel sounds? I spent a lot of cash on my compendium to get those sounds. Can I ask for my money back now?

Noticed there is some good Dota lately. OG looks a bit average, Navi is looking quite impressive! Havent seen Secret in action, but they 2 - 0'd some unlucky small team. Not that I am interested in Secret and their ******* of a captain.

Secret prob looking like the best EU team right now, excluding Liquid of course. OG have been very underwhelming... But I think that was expected with Reso going back to mid after 2 years.

I'm just chomping at the bit for new patch to drop.

Gh is pretty good - can you imagine a team with GH on 4 and Sonneiko on 5? Sonneiko is IMHO the best number 5

I've never actually thought of Sonneiko as a stand-out pos 5. Guess he's just playing in a current rendition of Navi' that's pretty sh*t.
Then also pos 5's are never "noticeable". They don't roam. They don't get kills...just when ward and smoke and dust and brown boots.

Tough life I guess. #supportlife

Typically, yes. But in recent Navi games the Sonneiko and Rodjer duo have seriously impressed me. Sonneiko is capable of making MASSIVE plays in the mid game. His game sense is unbelievable.

See if you can watch the group stage game of Navi vs Secret. You will see what I am talking about. ;)

I've watched a few Navi games recently, an actually been impressed by Crystalize more than anything else. Dendi is Dendi, just not sure how they all gel.

If they both win their first round, there is a mouth-watering prospect of Navi vs EG tomorrow when I get home from work.
 
Wow.....do yourself a favour, clear 70 minutes and watch the EG vs VGJ game 3.

Another "Major" starts today with ESL Hamburg.

Nice thing is the friendly timezones for a change.

EG vs Secret just as I get home tonight...yay
