Point of concern

When asked what we should be paying for broadband - he answers with "what we had was n't too bad" ????

Maybe for him as an ISP - but not for me.

Dotco took a lot of flack a while back on the forum, but with balls like this they sure are worthy of a bit of credit! Go DotCo! Go big!

Hmmm.. tough one.. hopefully the judge is clued up.. or a MyADSL member

As long as there is not loophole within the system of the LAW, and hopefully Telkom dont exploit the justice system, your case is pretty solid. But I dont want to speak to soon. Anything could happen. There's lotsa bribery and corruption.

Anyways if you win the case, it paves the road for all other ISP's to follow. It would make no sense for other ISP's not to follow. ICASA would be called under scrutiny as to why these price increases were not passed by them. DoC will also be called in to answer questions.

All I can hope is that the judge or panel of judges working on the case are not as incompetent as someone like IVY.... Otherwise you can kiss your case goodbye.
