Hi, I would like to know which would be the best downgrade from a 8800GT PCI card? I find that its drawing too much power, trying to stay green.

Might want to look at the 9600GT/HD4670 (the HD4670 gets my vote, as it draws less than 75W, so no external power necessary).

it performs the same and it uses less power, so i guess so... but perhaps you should wait for the AMD 40nm parts to come out
why don't you just play with water guns instead - it's fun and you get to help the grass grow with all the water flying around - very green, and pro enviroment.

Or get the 9800GT, its a rebranded 88GT but draws a bit less power and performs the same.
