Download Accelerator Plus - freeware version?

Need something similar to Download Accelerator Plus. Dont like how long it loads on startup. Dont like it that I have to look at ads. Using Vista Home Basic.

The last time I looked at DAP, which was years ago, it included lots of Adware, and IIRC some Spyware as well, if that's still the case, then stay away from DAP.

FDM is a better option.

you need to download a firefox add-on called "Flashgot". go to mozilla add-ons and do a search for it there.
