download freezes

Hi all,

I have an 8ta micro sim card, I've been using my phone(galaxy s4) as a mobile hotspot.
I'm trying to download a file(297mb) on my laptop. Each time the download gets to 221mb, the download freezes. I tried it 3 times, and the same thing happens.

Does anyone know what could be the cause of this and how can I resolve the issue?

Are you using a download manager? Does it do the same for any file or just a file from a particular site / server?

No, I'm not using a download manger. I haven't tried downloading any other files greater than 221mb.

Try using one.

It might just be the server you're downloading from. I downloaded plenty large files (filehippo, game demos etc) whilst on 8ta and never had a problem. Your connection might not be so stable, so use a download manager.
