Helo all,

I'm given to believe that IDM is not suitable for Neotel  but DAP is. Well both have stopped @ 99% of the two dloads I've been trying to complete from this morning.

I've also tried FDM, which also stopped @ 99%. I changed the choice of servers on RS and still nothing. I'm at my wits end and humbly request you guy's expert advice please.

Thank you all in advance :)

Sounds to me like you are using the free rapidshare service as this is a common problem. You are not going to be able to use a program that opens multiple connections when using rapidshare as a free service. In order to be able to use a download accelerator you need to be a premium member.

If I am wrong and you are in fact a premium member then make sure your rapidshare cookie isn't being blocked by your firewalls, etc.

If however i am right and you are not a premium member then the only real workable solution that i know of is to either do a single connection download (use the normal windows download) or to limit the number of simultaneous connection your download accelerator is using to 1.

Guess what? I'm having the same issue but that's with Prem Rapidshare as we speak. Multiple files just stop. I'm using the RS Download manager and the downloads just cut out after a certain amount of time.

I guess I'll have to try out single download. :/

You might want to see my post here about Rapidshare and Neotel. I'm not sure if you are using the Neoflex of Neotel Prime device

Neotel & Rapidshare

This will sound weird. But I had a few files from Rapidshare that would get stuck at a certain percentage when downloading through Neotel.

But what I found is that if I downloaded the file from another computer that was connected via my Wireless network to the PC with ICS (dialled into Neotel) then I can download the file without any problems. I have tried this with several files that would just get stuck on the primary machine.

It seems like the problem only occurs when the PC/laptop is directly connected to the Neotel device via USB - no matter which machine it was attempted on.

Anyone care to try this out? It's made it a lot easier for me to download those "problematic" files.

B.

i had a problem once on fdm with one specific file stopping at 99%. i just found the temp file, renamed it and turned off the hidden attribute... the file had been downloaded completely but fdm couldnt finalise it for whatever reason
