DragonAge Origins thread

Hi All

I got the normal edition last night and installed it, but is there a way to install the disc 2 as well. When I installed it only used one disc.

Thanks

Second docs is for the other european languages just like with Mass Effect.

Do the other languages add up to 7 Gig

One of the reason I am asking is because on the box it said hdd space needed was 20 gig and my inatallation was around the 15 gig mark, although the game seems to be running fine 8-)

Got the game last week. Oh, it's good fun...

It feels oldschool in all the right ways, but also manages to be technically brilliant and cutting-edge.

Anyone else feel that magic is so much more awesome than trying to use a sword, though? I started playing as a warrior, but I couldn't handle the segments where you're forced to play without the assistance of your party. (Why does every RPG insist on doing that? :p )

I restarted as a mage, and wow... You just burn through enemies as if they weren't there.

Cone of cold + magic fist = pwned. :D

You've got that Alistair dude to do your tanking, so your main character can afford to be a mage.

Best RPG for years. Makes Oblivion and Mass Effect look like cheap mass-appeal sellouts. :)

Bought the game today. Gonna install tonight. Busy downloading the toolset (461MB). Can't wait.

Ordered it on Kalahari this morning and it's been "ready to pack" since 14h00...I better get it within the 24 hours they promised.

The graphics doesn't look bad at all. I'am on 1920x1080 with 8x aa on my 4850 and i dont get any noticeable lag thus far.

I almost crapped myself last night in the storage cave (mage starting point) with the sound put on high.:D

Christ you guys are making me jealous, i need to get this game soon.

I installed Patch 1.01a last night (13 megs). It didn't work on XP at first because I had to install something like vcred_x86.exe (or some Visuall C++ tools for 2005) that I found on a comment section.

The patch fixes some difficulty issues nicely.

I've been playing DAO on my PS3 and have really enjoyed it so far but I've decided that gaming experience would be even better with the superior PC version as the radial controls just dont work for me. So I'm looking to sell my PS3 version as I dont think I can return it once the packaging has been opened.

Does anyone know where the best place to sell used PS3 games is?
