How did you get this right? I am running all the latest device updates, and I get a message saying no tv out allowed. I was considering testing it through the Apple TV to see if that will work. Maybe you used it on a jail broken device?

I also want to know how this is working. When I attach the HDMI cable to the iPad, the Drifta software stops with a message "An unsupported device was detected". Are you using JB software?

Lexor, you are correct.
The youtube video also correct, but try and connect or make it work with the Drifter software....It will work with evrything on your iPad, except the Drifter software from Apple. Error message will show on ipad, that external video devices not supported. The bidorbuy seller is from China, and your waiting period will be a month or so and also, you better hope you get the item.

I have the adapter. As mentioned by radarmaestro, everything works, except the Drifta.

This is what worked for me:

1) Jailbroken iPad 2 (just google to find out how to jailbreak)
2)Go to Cydia store on IPad (Cydia icon will appear on ipad screen once jailbroken)
3)search for app called "Displayout" & download (it will be installed automatically)
4)Go to ipad settings and search for "displayout" on left hand pane.Click on name and enable it .
5)now play drifta on Ipad & connect HDMI cable to TV
6)Done (if still not working read below)

does anyone know if the drifta still works on a Jailbroken device after the latest upgrade to version 2.00.02. I have an iPad 2 jailbroken, with the new app downloaded. The app keeps closing? I have tried deleting and reinstalling, but no luck
