drifta problem

Hi I,ve trying to play my drifta via my laptop ...I've yet to get it right. Installed it but doesn't scan for channels it just say error and that I must check if the usb cable is in and if the device is on .....what can be the problem

try downloading the latest version of the decoder app

mine did that as well until i downloaded a later version cause the one on the disc is outdated

I've got the same problem using a Mac, by mistake I deleted the connection off my Network, how do I get it back or how do I add it manually? I've already downloaded the new app but nothing...
