Just collected my new card after old one was stolen (was inside my laptop bag) from out my car boot. Anyway, I just noticed the picture is of really bad print quality. Looks almost more like a "ghost image" it is so faint. I am not complaining, I was not looking my best the day I applied for a replacement card. Just wondering if anyone that recently got a new card have a similar issue on their cards. Printer not fixed properly?

Did you unfortunately fall victim to the shopping mall 'remote locking jammer' criminals?
I parked at a Steers for Wacky Wednesday after work (big parking lot because there are a few other shops in the same open air centre. Got back to the car and unlocked the car and it made its normal beep sound (if car is not locked you can just hear the click from the mechanism) so thought nothing of it. Got into the car and put the Steers packet at passenger feet and drove home.

Get home, open boot to get my laptop bag out ...... and it was gone. No damage to the boot so I have no idea how they got in. A guy at work told me that when you park and you are distracted sometimes there is someone next to your car that pulls a door handle as you walk away and lock your car. You hear the beep beep sound from your car locking, but that door they are holding the handle on does not actually lock. I dont know. But I was not a happy chappy.

I had to go and do a sim swop on my Vodacom number which is linked to the Vodacom systems and soon as Vodacom detects a sim swop on a number which is linked to a profile that uses their systems, they block your profile and you cant log in before you go through the entire revalidation process. I could not work for almost a week! Then of course the drivers license I had to apply. I still need to reapply for my Smart ID card. :(

Oh No! - That's a nasty (and expensive) surprise when you open the boot & all your valuables / laptop / etc are missing - thankfully the 'new to me' Tata Indica GVS I bought at the end of December only has manual door locks & NO central locking - I flip the interior lock button as I get out and then hold the door handle as I shut the driver's door - that way I am 100% sure that the car IS actually locked & there's also NO chance of 'remote jammers' succeeding in getting into the car or boot (I also do a quick check of the interior door locks of the other 3 doors just before I get out, to make sure they are also all still locked as well)... also the alarm/immobiliser auto-activates about 15 seconds after you remove the ignition key, so you still get the 'Beep-Beep' and indicators flashing to show it is on... ;)

I dunno. Mine seems ok

Yup same here and I got mine in Jan 2025. They took the photo. Got issued before it broke down in Feb 2025. Probably running low on ink :X3:

Yup, same on my side. Print quality is poor.
