Driving instructor offering me an "easy" pass.

Record him asking you to bribe him then play him the recording and blackmail him to pass you for free.

If you make a mistake then you need to admit to it. If there was a good reason then tell the tester why you did what you did.
Be polite and calm and friendly the whole time. It helps to call the tester Sir or Mam as it shows respect.

Unfortunately you might just get a pissed off tester who feels like failing you.
If you are offered a chance to get it "easy" then just politely decline and remain friendly. If they ask you why, you say that you believe you are a good enough driver to get through on your own merit and would prefer to do it the regular way, but thank you for the offer.

He failed me in the yart test and said I didn't look around enough.(I was like a owl he did not give me any points on the other-stuff but I cant prove him wrong). He took me to his office and told me u can drive very good.So do u have any kudos on your farm? I said no just normal stock, then he ask how much do we ask for sheep or calf. I told him at the moment we don't have any. So 29Apr I am going again.

I really think in car cameras should be mandatory.

I really don't mind doing the test 10 times, but for the love of @*$4... they only make appointment's every 2 months, I got there on the 3Apr @ about 6:45 and the row stood out the door I was 40th.Took me the hole day,came out at about 12:45.

You probably went directly not via a driving school, or went via a driving school that doesn't have this corrupt relationship with the examiners.

I would just like to know, if I don't pay the guy, and we proceed as if there was no bribe etc. and I pass, will I be penalised later on if someone else exposes him in the future? Someone said if he goes down, he will try to pull me down...not sure if that's possible buy I'd just like opinions, thanks.
 
Was at the Nelspruit DLTC yesterday, the guy that was administering the eye tests for the learner's licences was handing out flyers for a driving school after his shift. Suspicious much?

What I meant was I did mine 16 years ago, not sure if I would be able to do the yard test today, though :o
 
What I've heard from some is that there is some sort of fail quota the examiners have each day, so they all organize themselves, by the time YOU arrive for your test your fate is almost already decided and at the same time some examiners are actually not corrupt at all, it's an absolute gamble. Those who have passed without bribing in these recent times were lucky enough to probably get a non corrupt examiner or got an examiner who was feeling generous, whilest those who did pay the bribe passed because they paid for it although if you do F-up in the yard test you WILL be failed despite the bribe, it's pure corruption.
 
Thank God you only have to do your drivers once in your life. Reading this thread just makes me nervous and I have had my drivers for 10 years already.
 
Got mine yesterday !!!:D Road test 186/192 ,yard test 30/50 and this with big ass trailer for EB so happy
 
So I did my test this Tuesday...with another instructor...and legally. And I passed.
Got 20/50 in the yard, and 87/186 on the road.
The instructor I went with charged r220 but was worth all of it because I learned a lot, and he wasn't a crook.
