Have to renew mine in November - going in August to avoid the mess from last time... that is, IF the machine works again by then.
At least it's R75 (IIRC) for the "paper licence" (which I always take when renewing, just in case)...

Unfortunately it is not those who are contributing to the economy that is voting for them.

You have a majority of people who couldn't care less about the economy, keeping a government in power who's only goal is to enrich themselves and makes life hell for everyone else.

Dunno but ive been driving without a license or a number plate for 3 years now.
R50 goes a long way. Also a lot cheaper than renewing, not to mention a ton less effort.

Why would i go line up and stand in a crowded shthole for 6 hours if i can just carry a 50 in my pocket

Im part of the solution. If the government stopped stealing and paid these poor people a real salary they wont need bribes to feed their families. Im assisting poor families get food on the table

Let's face it, if the government stopped stealing. these poor saps would have to find a real job.... I mean there would still be road rules to enforce but perhaps a genuine private sector could do a far better and cheaper job.

Let's make trade voluntary again.
