Hi all,

I'm looking to find a driving school in my area which is Gardens / Vredehoek in Cape Town.

I've been doing driving lessons with friends, but I think I've got the hang of actually driving, but I need to start learning to do the thing, properly before I pick up bad habits etc.

Does anyone know of any?

I like you gdiza :p

I thought I was the only dude in my mid 20's that doesn't have a license yet :p

25 and I still don't have it... yeah, I suck... then again, money is and always has been a problem in my life... I don't know if I can afford a car even with my license, but I'm going to try anyways boet.

Nothing erks me more than these damn kids who get GIVEN a car, write it off and just laugh cause mommy and daddy will pay (because THEY pay for insuarance etc)

:D

Oh, the driving school best have someone with patience... he/she screams at me, I'm so hitting them... WITH A FIST! :) hahaha.

@gdiza: In Cape Town its quite easy to live without a car, especially if you're in the City Bowl but I understand the need for one if you're stuck in a place like Bellville/Parow/Goodwood.

Like I mentioned in another post, He and She are quite good and there cars are reliable although it should be said they're a bit more expensive then the other guys- about R120/hour. If you take about two hours a week for about a couple of months it would do you the world of good.

Yea I only know of He&She driving school in that area...

I recently did a website for these guys based in Cape Town: The Driving Coach (but that's as far as the affiliation goes hehe :P) ...they got my flatmate to pass her license, and that's saying something I tell ya!

I went with Assist-u-drive (Shafiek) and I must say, he is pretty good.
There are times when I get irratated with him but when I pay attention (which is 90% of the time) then things go okay.

I can drive fine, make a few mistakes here and there (forget to do observations etc)

My alley docking (when I do it slowly) I do fine.
My parallel parking is easy... but I just need to do it slowly.

I just have a few issues;

3 point parking... that is tough!
My observations etc... tough to remember... how are the other 'soon to be drivers' doing!?
