Everybody? Who is everybody? I counted two emotional reactions, maybe three. Everybody is saying that Chelsea should have won that match 3-0, and they should have... they didn't, boo-hoo finish and klaar. Should have won is not even close to HAVE WON. Also, it's very different from blaming the ref. Though... the ref was f*cking disgrace. I think we all established that - both sets of fans.
rofl you putting your foot deeper in your mouth dude...
watch the replay over and over and over and you will see he was staring at that ball so hard whilst he had his arm up. He did not charge in to close down the strike with his face looking elsewhere. For liverpool to have been given a penalty for Heinz's should ball this one IS nothing like that a clear cut penalty that was not given/
Shows me even you can be so bias with the team you support

Loved Messi's handball goal! rival's Maradona
Of the five incidents that Chelsea have complained about, only one was a penalty – the clear handball by Gerard Pique. Dani Alves’ obstruction on Florent Malouda may have been inside the area, but obstruction is only a penalty offence when it is really serious, and this was not. The same can be said for Eric Abidal’s slight pull of Didier Drogba’s shirt before half time, which preceded a one second delay before the Ivorian catapulted himself onto the floor like he’d caught the plague.
In the episode involving Drogba and Yaya Toure on 56 minutes, both players were wrestling each other, and even if Kolo’s younger brother did draw back the Chelsea hitman, it was well outside the area. When the two players entered the box, Toure won the ball with a fair tackle. Finally, regarding Michael Ballack’s last-gasp appeal against Samuel Eto’o, the Cameroonian may have had his arm higher than usual, but it was clearly ball-to-hand (the very top of his arm and back), while he also had his back turned. FIFA’s ‘Laws of the Game’ are crystal clear on this.
It is amusing that Chelsea have conveniently overlooked the fact that Abidal was wrongly red carded on 65 minutes for a ‘professional foul’ when Anelka had tripped over his own feet. This forced Barcelona to chase the last 25 minutes of the game with just 10 men.
It is also peculiar how Chelsea have discarded the performance of referee Wolfgang Stark in the first leg at Camp Nou. During that game, Stark waved away an excellent Thierry Henry penalty shout, failed to send off Michael Ballack, and also harshly booked Carles Puyol, forcing Barcelona to start a left back at centre back, and a centre midfielder at left back last night.
Over the course of the two ties, the appalling refereeing decisions evened themselves out.
The rules are very clear when it comes to an obstruction penalty. A penalty will only be given for obstruction if the player is stopping a CLEAR goal scoring opportunity.
Malouda was on the touch line, his back was towards goal and posed no OBVIOUS goal threat. He went down like he was punched in the face.
That is not a penalty. Even Terry Paine said after the match, there was only one penalty in the game.
Pique's handball.
sigh so if what you saying about hand ball then Pique's hand was not deliberated as the ball struck him he didn't intentionally touch the ball...Direct Free Kick
A direct free kick is awarded to the opposing team if a player commits
any of the following seven offences in a manner considered by the
referee to be careless, reckless or using excessive force:
• kicks or attempts to kick an opponent
• trips or attempts to trip an opponent
• jumps at an opponent
• charges an opponent
• strikes or attempts to strike an opponent
• pushes an opponent
• tackles an opponent
A direct free kick is also awarded to the opposing team if a player
commits any of the following three offences:
• holds an opponent
• spits at an opponent
• handles the ball deliberately (except for the goalkeeper within his
own penalty area)
A direct free kick is taken from the place where the offence occurred
(see Law 13 – Position of Free Kick).
Penalty Kick
A penalty kick is awarded if any of the above ten offences is committed
by a player inside his own penalty area, irrespective of the position of
the ball, provided it is in play.
Handling the ball
Handling the ball involves a deliberate act of a player making contact
with the ball with his hand or arm. The referee must take the following
into consideration:
• the movement of the hand towards the ball (not the ball towards
the hand)
• the distance between the opponent and the ball (unexpected
ball)
• the position of the hand does not necessarily mean that there is
an infringement
• touching the ball with an object held in the hand (clothing,
shinguard etc.) counts as an infringement
• hitting the ball with a thrown object (boot, shinguard etc.) counts
as an infringement
Remember Carricks hand ball against Chelsea last season? He had his hand right next to his body and the ball just brushed across it as it was crossed in to the box and that got awarded as a penalty![]()
