Drogba......

Drogba needs to man up. Hes got all the skill in the world but yet he's still so pathetic with his diving and just falling down like a piece of ####. Play the game, he must leave all the moves he learnt in drama class off the pitch.

Both Drogba and Ronaldo are graduates from the Harvey Keitel School of Overacting.

OK... Now let me get to my points. Drogba is a baby at times, and falls around a lot. He can also be a twat of epic proportions, and I have criticized him before. Most notably when he threw that coin at the supporters. However, I can summarily say that I stand by his outrage. So it wasn't the most diplomatic or suave reaction a player could have - then again, if he was suave, he would be Berbatov. He was highly charged emotionally about a f*cking disgrace of a referee (that's not even a quote, that's just my opinion) and he sh@t him out. Oh well. At least he had a reaction. I prefer that to being calm when you clearly could have won. So no, I don't really care what he did. Good on him.

However, he still is a twat for diving around too much instead of scoring a frikkin goal. He could have gotten an easy hattrick, the defence couldn't touch him. Pique was made to look a little boy whenever Drogba went it properly. He is the main culprit. I was really hoping that when he got injury signs, that Di Santo would come on. He is also big and he would have been fresh. Kalou on for Anelka and it might have been a different game. Bah... now I'm rambling...

I'd like to take a different look from all you guys. I don't condone what Drogs did at all.....BUT.....Soccer is an emotional game. I take it some of you never played soccer.
If the ref robbed you, how would you have reacted. I'm sure Drogs regrets what he has done. I personally would have wanted to get my hands on that Wrestler looking ref myself.

Ya okay if the ref robs you then yes i agree you can complain and do stuff.

I just disagree in the way that he falls/dives and then expects the ref to give him a penality/freekick and then he doesnt get it he goes mal... thats just wrong. If it was a clear foul and he didnt get it then by all means shout your head off...

That's the thing. Two clear cut penalties. One 50/50 (with Malouda) which even I was uncertain about and Drogba's fall which is debatable for entertainment and flaming purposes only.

In terms of talent yes - but he has also fast become that falling pansy like Ronaldo who goes to ground if someone looks at him wrong...
I think there is alot "reputation preceding" when it comes to Refs and Ronaldo. Ronaldo previously did go down a little easier at first but over the last 3 years that has changed. At his pace it is always likely that a slight touch will send you tumbling and not been given the foul at most times is very frustrating (hence i think he has fallen victim to the crying game). I don't condone the dramatics but the Refs need to play their part and judge an incident on merit and not reputation.

:Just saying:)

Ronaldo in the last game against arsenal, stopped throwing his toys and played the game...

That dive against arsenal would have made Sagna blush.
Did I say he didn't dive? I said he stopped throwing his toys like he did in the first leg.
and by throwing his toys I mean roll around pulling face, throwing his arms and punching the ground.

Tuesday nights match against Arsenal is a clear indication of what Ronaldo can do every night if he cleans up his act.

Like Fishfly said, he put his head down and got to work and completely dominated the game.

Have to agree that he is that good a player - Just needs to man up a bit - Maybe do 1 of those Goku power up thingy's or something before the game and not after the team score's.

What a disgrace by Drogba and Ballack. Pathetic display by the two. I hope UEFA throw the book at both of them.

I would agree only if they also threw the book, the cat and the kettle at the ref.

Poor ref i agree.

The way Drogba carried on, he disgraced Chelsea.

No doubt. I just think that if they are punished (and they should be), so should that ref. I mean, I have always hated it when people blame the ref and even though I am not going to start now, I still think he should feel some pain. The sadist in me speaks. Please note children, I mean pain as in NEVER being allowed to ref another ECL match again. EVER.
