Anyone else experiencing their download just hit 0 for a few seconds every few minutes today? It's quite annoying, as if I'm disconnecting every few minutes for a few seconds.

In the Randburg area.

Hi, thanks.

I generally email to that email quite a bit but will go again :)

This started happening yesterday(15th of February) Afternoon around 4pm (when i discovered my modem disconnected)- my connection was stable for 7 days no disconnection at all using the woooosh none-stop and this started happening yesterday. Noticed my base station has been disappearing off the radar(3G SERVICE) also have to disconnect and reconnect to the network in order to get internet establishment to the outside world.

This happen at around 7pm,11pm(15th of Feb) - (16feb)2am,3am,5:20am this use to never happen before also my RSSI was stable for 1 week -87 now getting in the region of -95 and -89..

Location South of Johannesburg - Linmeyer area / The Hill.

Cell C Please undo whatever happened in the last 3-4days in Western Cape and SA... after a week of blazing whoosh speeds... since monday all i get is disconnects, cannot connect to remote computer, and Dial to 384kb/s speeds.... while my RSSI is -51dbm of 3g ....i know... you know... you have a serious problem.

This seems to be a widespread problem. Over the weekend my Cell C connection became virtually unusable because of the connection drops. In my case it's not Cell C's transmission towers, as I am accessing a Cell C signal piggybacking on our local VC mast. So must be back at base somewhere, perhaps with the servers? Really irritating.

Again last night: very erratic connection. On for about an hour, still connected, then suddenly no data in or out. Have to disconnect/reconnect. On for 3mins, still connected, then suddenly no data in or out. And so it went on. It carried on like this until about 2am, when I eventually just gave up and went to bed.

Please fix it! It was fine for weeks, we were singing your praises, and now we're back to square one.

Still struggling here in a rural area of NWP, with Cell C piggybacking on our local Vodacom tower: today it's impossible to connect, never mind actually keeping the connection up. Really hope Cell C will do something about this soon -- especially in a month when they were kind enough to give users an extra 3GB of data as a gift! If only we could actually use it.....

Probably was an firmware/upgrade on the network yesterday morning. My service is stable happy to report that no disconnections whatsoever - the only disconnection I experienced was BSOD(blue screen of death) but happy to report that my connection is stable once again and I am not experiencing any "Transmission Problems".

In CT still struggling with very slow speeds and disconnects. Until about a week ago it was great.

Interesting you mention Blue screen of Death, i too mysteriously had one yesterday while the modem must have lost connection while connecting and downloading from steam... this was not the first time though since i have had Cell c... i have interchanged parts and gone through 3 motherboards so after a lot of trouble shooting it is not hardware related...and has only happen twice on my new motherboard.... i think steam Black Ops and cell c don't get along... they seem to be the only things in common?

what are your thoughts on the blue screen issue?

My honest thoughts on the BSOD I received yesterday that didn't like my personality at the time was due to installing a new application and yes I didn't listen to the advice that stated clearly "Please Reboot" I ignored this message and didn't proceed with the reboot and probably during my time of hibernation it decided to be mean the application I installed and gave me BSOD - First BSOD I received on this new notebook - also make sure your windows is up-to-date with the latest patches etc.

Unfortunately cannot comment about Black Ops, but can comment I do have that game on the XBL platform - if problems do persist with BSOD check your event logs to see what the cause of "BSOD" could be software/application you have installed on your machine which is outdated or not compatible with the new patch of Windows XP/Vista...

Advice I can give - try another USB port *doubt that, that is the cause of your problem*

*Just Keep your eyes open and take notice of the BSOD error*
